The estate sits in the Front Range foothills of Jefferson County — about 90 minutes from
Denver and 90 minutes from Colorado Springs. The last stretch
of the journey is a maintained dirt road: perfectly passable for cars,
shuttles, and vendor trucks — nearly any car, a Civic included, makes it easily in fair weather. Tell your guests,
and embrace the dust — it's part of arriving somewhere that feels like the edge
of the world.
Electricity is available on site. Power supports lighting, music,
getting-ready spaces, and vendor equipment.

Restrooms are included — no extra charge
Restrooms are included with every wedding at no extra charge,
sized to the number of guests you bring. For very large celebrations, your vendors are welcome to
bring additional restroom trailers — but our facilities are planned to carry your day on
their own.

mirrors, and room for your people, tucked well apart so the first look happens exactly when you
choose.
Catering
An open-air cabana — not a kitchen
Caterers work from a covered open-air cabana with work surfaces for
staging and preparation. It is not a full kitchen — there are no
ovens, ranges, or refrigeration. Your caterer should plan to cook on their own equipment
(mobile kitchens, grills, and food trucks all thrive here) or deliver finished dishes.
Power is available; confirm equipment needs with your caterer early.
Access & Parking
A separate road for the people who make it happen
Caterers, rental deliveries, and prep vehicles use a dedicated service
road and park in a vendor lot separate from guest parking —
trucks never cross your ceremony sightlines, and guests never park behind a box van.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests can we bring?
Up to 300. Wooden ceremony benches and wooden harvest tables with bench seating are ours and included; anything beyond that comes through your vendors. Your altar and feast ground are exclusively yours — the estate is laid out so separate celebrations never cross paths.
What if it rains?
Colorado skies move fast. A tent (arranged through your rental company) is welcome over the dining theater and feast ground, and
your day is the whole day — ceremonies can shift hours without losing light. We'll plan the
weather call with you the week of.
Can we choose our own caterer and vendors?
Yes — bring anyone. On booking you receive our preferred vendors list; preferred vendors carry
no fee, outside vendors carry a flat 15% fee, and cleanup crews must come from our list.
Are there real bathrooms?
Yes — restrooms are included at no extra charge, sized to your guest
count. For very large celebrations your vendors may bring additional restroom trailers, but our
facilities are built to carry your day.
Where do we get ready?
Two private getting-ready spaces — one for each of you — with power, mirrors, and
room for your people.
How late can the music go?
Amplified music is welcome until the day ends at 10 p.m.
How do we hold a date?
Send the Request a Date form — it takes two minutes and carries no obligation. We reply
personally, usually within a day or two, and once we confirm together the date is held in your name.
What about winter?
The estate is reached by a few miles of graded country road — easy for nearly any car in fair
weather. Mountain winters are real: an occasional heavy snow can make access difficult for a day or
two, so off-season couples plan with weather in mind, and we work with vendors known to travel in
most conditions. Snow is plowed after a storm ends — not during — and while our plow is
ready, we make zero promises about snow. A mountain winter date is a real risk you
choose with open eyes.
What hours do we get?
A full-day wedding runs 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with three altars to choose from.
Your celebration spaces are yours alone all day.
Can we have a rehearsal?
Our favorite way — and the one we recommend: your day-of coordinator runs the rehearsal
on your wedding day, right before the ceremony. Everyone's already there, and
there's no time to forget a thing. If the hour before your booking is open, you're welcome to it
for a traditional run-through; otherwise your planner can rehearse the party off-site.
Can we serve alcohol?
Yes — with a licensed bartender. Couples bringing alcohol also pay a
$500 non-refundable liability-insurance fee to the venue.
Candles, sparklers, open flame?
No open flame of any kind — this is Colorado wildfire country and we protect
it. Battery candles and LED lighting are welcome and photograph beautifully at night.
How much parking is there?
On-site parking for 40 cars plus three full-size party buses or limos —
shuttles and buses are a great call for bigger guest lists.
Can our dog be part of the ceremony?
Yes — leashed dogs are welcome for the ceremony and photos, then head home
with a designated handler. The open land was made for that portrait.
What decor is allowed?
Real flower petals are welcome (your cleanup crew clears them). No confetti, glitter,
birdseed, fireworks, pyrotechnics, or sparklers — we protect this land. And no open
flame of any kind: battery candles only.
Any photography rules?
None worth writing down — the whole estate is yours to shoot. The altars, the plains,
the sky: every angle is fair game.
Where do we get our marriage license?
Jefferson County Clerk & Recorder in Golden (100 Jefferson County Pkwy). Apply online ahead of
time, then both of you pick it up with photo ID — about $30. Witnesses are optional in Colorado,
no residency required, and the signed license goes back to the county within 35 days.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit reserves your date; the balance is due four months before
your wedding. Every celebration also carries a $1,000 refundable damage deposit
(returned after a clean walkthrough) and requires day-of wedding liability insurance
— a one-day policy naming the venue, typically around $125. Holiday dates (July 4th, Memorial
Day & Labor Day weekends, New Year’s Eve) carry a $5,000 surcharge. Need
more time? Extra hours are $750 each — quiet celebration only, amplified music
still ends at 10 p.m.
Vendors
Bring your own team — with two simple rules
When you book, we hand you our preferred vendors list — caterers, planners,
photographers, florists, music, and rentals we trust with a day out here. You're welcome to use them,
or to bring your own.
A professional wedding planner is required for every full-day and split-day
wedding — weddings here run on professionals, and your people get to be guests. Elopements
don't need one.
Professionals only: friends and family can't work your wedding — no
volunteer catering, serving, setup, or teardown. They came to celebrate you.
Vendor hours: all vendors work inside your 8 a.m.–10 p.m. day (your cleanup
crew may stay until midnight). No day-before deliveries, no overnight storage, and no vehicles left
overnight — everything arrives and leaves with your day.
Bring your own officiant too — we don't provide one, and our preferred list
includes officiants couples love.
Outside vendors are welcome. A flat 15% fee applies to any vendor
who isn't on our preferred list.
We don't rent equipment. Tents, glassware, dishware, linens, and other rentals all come through your caterer or rental company — we provide the estate, the altars, and our wooden tables and benches.
Cleanup is the one exception. Your cleanup crew must come from our preferred list.
We hold strict standards on the turnaround — because the next couple's wedding has to be every bit
as flawless as yours.
